Welcome to The Traveling Peacock! This blog will feature the travel adventures of Pete the Peacock and his owner, Hazel Meredith, as they travel and photograph across the United States.
Hazel is an avid photographer and teacher who wanted to combine her love of travel with her photography. She teaches webinars, seminars, workshops and individual tutoring through her company, Meredith Images, specializing in software instruction including: Topaz; textures; Photoshop CC & Elements; Lightroom; HDR; and other plug-in programs.
She authored her first eBook, “Working with Textures & Overlays: Turn Ho-Hum into a Work of Art” in 2015, and the sequel that was released in the Spring of 2019. She is currently working on Book 3. She offers her own line of textures, brushes and ephemera in her online store, the Peacock Studio.
In 2017 she and her husband, Dave, founded the Creative Photography Conference, a weekend event with multiple speakers presenting on all things creative, from in-camera techniques to post-processing.
